Michael Ng

I am an expert in Chess with many years of experience. Since 2005, I have been dedicated to nurturing more talented young players. The year 2015 marked a milestone in my coaching life when I founded Yeast Chess Academy. Over nearly 10 years of development, we have pioneered a model of online chess learning. This model ensures that students achieve excellent learning outcomes, whether through in-person or online instruction. During these twenty years, in addition to achieving numerous milestones in chess, I have also coached several Hong Kong youth representatives. They have achieved outstanding results in international competitions. Major Award - 4th place in the 2023 Eastern Ontario Open Chess Championship (Grade B) Student's Award - Champion in the 4th East Asian Youth International Chess Championship (U8 category)
